What the Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees
- Living allowance (stipend) for the duration of the award
- Return economy airfare to the host country
- One‑off arrival allowance
- Research Support Grant (available upon request and subject to approval)
- There is no application fee.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a citizen (or hold refugee status) in a Commonwealth country
- Apply for study in a country other than your home country
- Have achieved a minimum of 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
- Meet the admission requirements of the chosen university
- There is no upper age limit for applicants
- Refugees should apply as citizens of the country that granted them refugee status.
Application Timeline
Applications close: 3 June 2026 at 15:00 UTC
Two application cycles run each year (Cycle 1: Nov/Dec, Cycle 2: Mar/Apr)
Applicants may apply more than once if interested in multiple host countries
How to Apply
- Review the list of eligible countries, universities, and courses for the current cycle.
- Visit the university website for course details.
- Submit a QECS application via the ACU portal (requires a myACU account).
- Apply separately to the chosen university for admission to the selected course.
