Who Can Apply
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be currently enrolled in high school or college
Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA
Submit an original essay of 500 words or more discussing how Minecraft can support learning or career development
What You Need to Submit
Applicants must complete the online form and upload their essay along with basic academic information. The scholarship committee reviews all submissions and contacts the selected recipient by email.
Essay
Your essay should explore how Minecraft can be used as a positive force in education or professional growth. This could include:
Skills you’ve developed through gameplay
How Minecraft has influenced your creativity or problem‑solving
Ways the game can be used in classrooms or training environments
Personal experiences that connect Minecraft to your future ambitions
