· Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement (normally equivalent to a first‑class honours degree)
Show a clear commitment to contributing to the development of their home country after graduation
· Understand the full cost of studying and living in the UK
· Provide evidence of motivation and initiative in securing additional funding for living expenses
· Exhibit strong leadership qualities and the potential to drive sustainable change

The Global Impact Scholarship uses an open competition format. Applicants may only apply after receiving an offer for a master’s programme.
Application Steps:
1. Apply for an eligible master’s programme at Loughborough University by April 15th 2026
2. Receive a conditional or unconditional offer
3. Complete the Global Impact Scholarship application form
4. Submit the form before the scholarship deadline
· Deadline to apply for a master’s programme: 15 April 2026
· Scholarship application deadline: 6 May 2026
· Scholarship decisions announced: By 1 June 2026
· Deposit payment deadline: Within 14 days of receiving the scholarship offer
· Applications will not be considered unless the applicant already holds an offer
· All sections of the scholarship application must be completed in full
· Late applications will not be reviewed
· Applicants must show proof of funds for travel, living, and maintenance costs
· No deposit is required at the time of scholarship application
